** [Cultivation Technique category]

• Sword Gate Visualization Art [Human] (Discarded) <Age 9~15>
  • Obtained: Generally provided for all new Sword Gate outer hall disciples. Discarded for the Celestial Cultivation Technique given by Xin Huo. Sometimes used to express Soul Liberty in official Sword Gate events during the Mortal Level.
  • By practicing this cultivation technique, a Sword Gate would be formed in the practitioner’s psyche ocean. As long as the soul could break free from the Sword Gate, it would be able to leave the body and achieve Soul Liberty. However, this art only very slowly train the psyche, but does not nourish the soul. Therefore, this art creates a dependency on medicines, a rich item, to improve one's cultivation.
  • This visualization art a very low-grade art, slow and highly dangerous with required non-five elements environmental conditions, else will lead to suicide when the soul contacts the five elements.
• Sui Sovereign Flame Order Palace Visualization Art [Celestial] <Age 15~>
  • Obtained from Xin Huo. Stages 1~3: Initially grasp firmly the spirit, psyche, and soul of the three, and from there will slowly complete them into detail.
  • Stages:
    1. Sui Sovereign: [Personal Charm of the Sovereign] Visualizing the spirit, psyche, and soul of the Sui Sovereign. Then needed to visualize the charm and aura of this supreme leader that started a new era, the Fire Order Era. This existence was respected as the Heavenly Sovereign Heavenly Monarch.
    2. Flame Order Palace: [Majestic Aura of the Palace] The godly palace of the Heavenly Monarch Sui Sovereign. The art that was projected by Xin Huo was already a simplified version, but it was still very complex. Furthermore, a palace that was so magnificent and majestic was simply hard to visualize.
    3. Sui Tree: [Awe-inspiring of the Tree] Tree that was in front of the Flame Order Palace. The tree crowns covered an area of a million hectares. It was so tall that it was unreachable by an ordinary man. Clouds and mists wound around the tree crowns and peculiar massive birds nested on the top of the tree. Every single leaf was different from one another. One could tell how hard it would be to imagine and visualize the whole tree.

  • Obtained from the Gen Jin Sword Token owned by Qiu Jin'er.
  • The core inheritance of Sword Gate Headmaster, a Feng descendant of the sealed Fuxi Celestial Race.

• Black Tortoise Visualization Art [Human] (ch-85,94,95)
  • Obtained from Jun Sixie. Assist defense through using basic elemental Gold qi and visualization.
  • Two parts: Xuan Tortoise Totem and Teng Snake Totem (Merge them together to get Black Tortoise Totem)
  • Applied visualization totem carving engrave on the physique's epidermis as initial Martial Master defensive technique. Applied Xiang Dragon totem to the bones.
• Rising Sun and Falling Moon Tai Yi Art AKA Tai Chi Art [Celestial] (ch-108)
  • Obtained from Xin Huo.
  • Created by he fourth Heavenly Monarch of Fuxi Celestial Race, Tai Hao, crowned as the East Sovereign and venerated as Tai Yi, owner of the Sun-Moon Twin Spirit.
  • Speaks of the cycle of the Yin and Yang, the pathway of the Sun-Moon Twin Spirit.
• Monster God Ming King Art [Monster] (ch-118,123,127,129)
  • Inheritance obtained as disciple Long Yue. Worse than the Sui Sovereign Flame Order Palace Visualization Art in difficulty.
  • It was a holistic art covering the facets of combat pertaining to defense, attack, sealing, close-quarters and ranged skills.
  • Chapters:
    1. Prologue/Beginning: Mortal body induces eight hairy arms and a third eye visualization for physical combat.
    2. Psyche: Tempering the psyche into a lightning pool in the psyche ocean, and the abstrusity about the psyche arts.
    3. Weaponry: Totem patterns pertaining to eight different weapon — sword, saber, hammer, dual shields, whip, and two hook swords. The corresponding skills were ones that visualized their respective weapons, naturally, they would be far more complicated and abstruse to understand. These are eight weapon visualization skills, and they are all close-quarters combat skills.
    4. Yuan Shen combat skill: Eight-armed Ming King multi-weapon combat with Yuan Shen visualization.
    5. Array Formations: Eight weapons combined into an array formation. Barbarous and wild. Cast the array formation while maintaining the mortal body skill, psyche visualization, weaponry visualizations, and the Yuan Shen visualization simultaneously.

  • The specialty was its ‘flexibility’, although there were a 144 Jiao Dragon forms, one could derive a myriad of permutations and combinations of skills from that foundation of skills, creating increasingly more powerful and complex skills.

Innate Eight Trigrams (Self-created)

• The [Innate Eight Trigrams], which explained the universe’ wonders, the indescribable secrets in heaven and earth and the core, Yi through eight types of Innate Trigrams.
• Yi, was the dragon pattern that separated the Celestial, Demon, Yin and Yang in the [Celestial Demon Tai Chi Art].
• The [Celestial Demon Tai Chi Art] contained the Innate Yin, Yang, Celestial and Demon Dao;
• The [Desolate Lightning Heavenly Furnace Scripture] contained the Innate Lightning Dao;
• The [Time Light Spatial Crystal Mystic Scripture] contained the Space and Time Dao;
• The [Fu Min Dao Venerate Heart Sutra Scripture] contained the Innate Yi Dao.
• Together, they have formed the basis of the [Innate Eight Trigrams].
• In Zhong Yue’s [Innate Eight Trigrams], Yi was the core, Yin and Yang turned into the innate sun and innate moon while the celestial and demon turned into the black and the white in the Tai Chi.
  • Whereas for the lightning, it was one type among the eight trigrams created by the four symbols. It was called the Zhen Trigram.
  • The Gan Trigram as heaven, heaven father and Heaven Dao.
  • The Kun Trigram as earth, earth mother and Earth Dao.
  • The Xun Trigram as wood, the life mother and Life Dao.
  • The Kan Trigram as water and power of torrent while the Li Trigram as fire and the power of heat, together, they became the Fire and Water Dao.
  • The Ken Trigram as alpines with different transformations while the Rui Trigram as swamp, the land of reproduction. Together, they were the Mountain and River Dao.

Sui Insight Dao Scripture

• Unlike the other cultivation arts that provided full sets of guidance to the cultivators on how to progress in their cultivation, explaining the Dao abstruseties step by step, the [Sui Insight Dao Scripture] was more like Great Sui’s personal memoir. It recorded his cultivation path in a mixed and random manner. There wasn’t a complete guide on how to cultivate it and even had some peculiar ways of cultivations in the scripture that didn’t belong to Great Sui’s totem cultivation system.

Physique Refining Art

• Jiao Dragon Winding Body Totem Art [Physique Refining] [Visualization] <Age 9~15^Ch.>
  • Obtained from the Sword Gate Outer Hall Lower House. Used as a Mortal. Zhong Yue commonly uses it as multiple appendages.
  • It was also a visualization art that originated from a tribe who worshipped Jiao Dragons as their totem. To practice this technique, one had to imagine a fierce Jiao Dragon winding around one’s body to strengthen the body and grow immense strength. It does not promote cultivation beyond the Visualization rank, because this at Mortal stage only has the skin of the Jiao Dragon instead of the inner body or even the spirit of the Jiao Dragon: there is no flesh, veins or internal organs. Its main function is to visualize a real Jiao Dragon or parts of it into reality.
  • This physique refining art made Zhong Yue’s 15 year old body many times more powerful than usual Sword Gate outer sect disciples. The reason Zhong Yue bitterly cultivated this physique refining art was because he was born poor and needed to frequently go down the mountain to pick herbs and refine pills, strengthening himself to have a way to preserve his survival. This art enhances the body to protect the soul during the Mortal cultivation period.
  • Initially, the Sui Sovereign Flame Order Palace Visualization Art enhanced its prowess during Zhong Yue's Mortal cultivation period.
  • Revised, with dual usage alongside the Spring Thunderbolt Sword Skill's 12 Thunder totems, to improve physique refining. Later added the Xiang Dragon totem to improve and allowing the physique to be comparable to that of a Qi Practitioner despite being a Mortal.
  • Reconstructed and re-visualized at Rebirth Qi Practitioner level during initial sculpting course, as eight Jiao Dragons. Later developed twelve golden Jiao Dragons and finally, under Ao Fenglou's visualization, the completion with Jiao Dragon's quintessence called the Soaring Dragon Hundred Forms.

• Sun Moon Prodigious Emanation Art [Physique Refining]
  • Contains the Great Sun and Bright Moon, obtained from two Arts given by Xin Huo using the cultivated Sun Pupil and Moon Pupil. Requires dual spirits of Sun and Moon as a Qi Practitioner. Purifying the physique of impurities as the soul becomes stronger. It also assists in bloodline purification.
  • Based on the Rising Sun and Falling Moon Tai Yi Art/Tai Chi Art, replacing the complex visualized Tai Hao that binds Yin-Yang with the Jiao Dragon carving of the Jiao Dragon Winding Body Totem Art.
  • Great Sun Prodigious Emanation Art [Physique Refining]: First layer of insight brought to Zhong Yue by the spirit of the Great Sun Golden Crow - Forming the Great Sun Totem with his psyche and irradiating his whole body to acquire a prodigious body, smelting it, removing all blemishes inside and outside with tough refinement. Focus more on the physique.

  • Bright Moon Prodigious Emanation Art [Physique Refining]: First layer of insight brought to Zhong Yue by the spirit of the Bright Moon Star Toad - Forming the Bright Moon Totem with his psyche and irradiating his whole body to acquire a prodigious body, washing it, removing all impurities inside and outside with gentle cleansing. Focus more on the psyche.

Combat Skills

• Spring Thunderbolt Sword Skill <Age 15-
  • Obtained from Sword Gate Outer Hall's Elder Pu. Visualizes the Spring Thunder totem spirit with a given 12 thunder totem carvings. The skill's higher levels are possessed by the Lei Hu Clan with 128 thunder totems.
  • The spring thunderbolt is the first thunderbolt in spring __the first thunderbolt of the year. Visualize and construct a totem of a thunderbolt with the psyche. Then turn the thunderbolt totem into Sword Qi. Later used to improve the Jiao Dragon Winding Body Totem Art to have better physique refining. Requires a compatible sword-type soul weapon to unleash this skill's first bottleneck. However, to show its true power, the visualized thunderbolt is of Yin attribute, therefore, one must comprehend the natural world's lightning of the Yang attribute for stronger power.
